The Housekeeping Team shines at the Spire St Anthony’s Hospital

With the aim of the Spire St Anthony’s Hospital in Cheam being to bring together the best people who are dedicated to delivering the highest quality patient care, the Housekeeping Team proved to be a shining example.

The Team’s delivery on the service expectation and patient care earned them a Silver CAP Award. This is the highest possible award for an announced visit. Gold can only be achieved via an un-announced visit.

The independent assessor from the ‘Continuous Advancement Programme’ (www.capaward.co.uk) arrived for the announced assessment visit in July. The Housekeeping Team took the visit in their stride and continued at ‘business as normal’. In early August, the Award was confirmed much to the delight of Nicola Scannella and the Housekeeping Team.

Around 40% of organisations fail to meet award winning standards but join the CAP (Continuous Advancement Programme) to improve their standards as part of their on-going progression. Credit is therefore due to the Housekeeping Team and their commitment to keeping the Hospital clean and providing the right environment for the very best patient care
