A HIGHLY POLISHED PERFORMANCE AT HARROGATE LADIES’ COLLEGE

THE housekeeping staff at Harrogate Ladies’ College were judged to have excelled in keeping this renowned School in good order. The team achieved a Gold CAP Award for the high quality of the cleanliness and the excellent overall management of the housekeeping service.

The CAP (Continuous Advancement Programme) Awards recognise excellence in housekeeping and are regarded as the highest measure of housekeeping quality in independent schools.

Principal Sylvia Brett praised the housekeeping team for another outstanding achievement.

She said: “I am so pleased for the housekeeping team – this Gold Award is well deserved”.

“The housekeeping team contributes greatly to the success of our school and it is reassuring to all associated with the School – the day and boarding pupils and their parents – that our housekeeping service stands up to the external scrutiny of the specialists.”

Ian Jackson, Managing Director of the CAP Awards, praised the housekeeping team for their achievements.

He said: “In assessing the actual cleaning standards across the whole site from the senior school boarding houses and study areas (girls aged 11-18) through to the classrooms in Highfield Prep School (boys and girls aged 4-11) and on to the activity rooms in Bankfield Pre-Prep (boys and girls aged 2-4 years), the housekeeping team deserve enormous credit for their achievement”.

“They earned the Gold Award because they received a very good ‘hands-on’ cleaning inspection score, in fact the highest in the North this year.
