Westonbirt School polishes the Silver

Westonbirt School has demonstrated its commitment to giving students the best possible learning environment by achieving a Silver Award in its Continuous Advancement Programme (CAP) assessment for 2017.

The Silver Award is the highest accolade an organisation can receive from CAP in an announced assessment. Next year, the school will be assessed during an unannounced visit, when it will be aiming for Gold.

Westonbirt joined the programme last year. Since then, the school and its housekeeping team have worked together tirelessly to improve standards. The team took on board a series of pointers from last year’s assessment to improve its buildings and working practices even further.

Headmistress Natasha Dangerfield said: “This result shows how dedicated our housekeeping team is to giving our students an environment in which they can prosper. We are confident this dedication will help us continue to improve over the coming year, culminating in a Gold award in 2018.”
